Contract-to-Hire and Direct Hire Opportunities Available

Salary: $58,000 - $72,000, Depending on Experience

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a large, established Indianapolis organization to identify an Accountant who is looking to grow their career beyond traditional accounting responsibilities. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis while working alongside an experienced finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Accountant who enjoys working with data, reporting, and analysis and wants to gain broader exposure to strategic finance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports for leadership
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
• Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies
• Analyze financial data and provide meaningful business insights
• Maintain reporting schedules and ensure data accuracy
• Support ERP reporting and data analysis
• Partner with leadership on special projects and ad hoc reporting requests
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and financial operations support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required
• 2+ years of accounting, finance, or financial reporting experience
• Experience preparing and analyzing financial reports required
• Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting concepts
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookup functions
• ERP experience required; Oracle experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
